Meet the therapists who make our practice compassionate, diverse, and effective.
Our Therapists
Jonathan Fox (CSW)
I’m a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in Utah who helps adults heal from trauma and adverse childhood experiences in a way that feels safe, grounded, and deeply human.
Using evidence-based approaches like EMDR, motivational interviewing, and structured trauma work, I support clients as they process difficult past experiences, manage triggers, set healthier boundaries, and reconnect with themselves. I bring a calm, steady presence to the therapy room, believing that trust and genuine connection are essential to meaningful healing.
My own journey through loss and trauma has shaped my belief that therapy should never feel clinical or cold—it should feel like someone finally sees you. If you’re ready to move from surviving to truly healing, I would love to join you on your path!
Courtney Hunter (AMFT)
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), I help individuals, couples, and families make sense of their struggles and build stronger, more connected lives. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices like EMDR, Brainspotting, and family systems therapy.
Whether you're working through trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or relational patterns that feel stuck, I offer compassionate support and practical tools for change. With additional training in the Gottman Method and a strong foundation in psychoeducation, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs. I see clients both in-person and via telehealth across Utah.
I would love to work along side you - so feel free to reach out!
Levi Josefsson (AMFT)
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and board-certified music therapist, I work primarily with couples in midlife seeking clarity and reconnection, as well as with teens and college-aged young adults facing anxiety, OCD, and identity exploration. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both exposure-based practices and psychodynamic insight, helping clients not only manage symptoms but also understand the deeper “why” behind their emotional patterns.
I’m excited to help clients challenge themselves in a way that feels safe and supportive. I also can integrate skills from my music therapy toolkit—like lyric work or active listening—to support connection and self-expression. My practice is shaped by cultural humility, personal experience as a husband and father, and a strong commitment to supporting all walks of life.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy—I believe in meeting you where you are and working together toward growth, clarity, and meaningful change.
Joshua Powner (LMFT)
I work with 1) couples on the fringes of disconnection and misunderstanding as well as 2) individuals, couples, and families struggling with the overwhelm of ADHD—often both.
Whether it’s communication breakdowns, procrastination, or emotional burnout, my approach is active, direct, and focused on forward momentum. I blend the Gottman Method with CBT, DBT, and short-term psychodynamic therapy to provide clear insight, practical tools, and structure that helps clients break out of frustrating cycles.
Psychoeducation is a key part of our work together—you’ll leave sessions not just with awareness, but with real strategies you can apply immediately. Therapy with me isn’t about endless venting; it’s about clarity, follow-through, and meaningful change. If you’re ready to stop spinning your wheels and start building something stronger, let’s talk!
Cody Smith (CMHC Intern)
I’m a clinical intern working toward my LCMHC, and I help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is structured yet conversational—I draw from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and Gottman Method tools, while creating a space that’s compassionate, grounded, and real.
I’m especially drawn to working with individuals who feel stuck or unseen, and I have a growing interest in supporting those living with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. I bring lived experience into the room, shaped by my own struggles in life and my experiences in a multicultural family life, which deepens my understanding of identity, healing, and human complexity.
I’d be honored to walk with you through your healing process!
Heather Wright (MFT Intern)
